Stefano Giacomini -It’s not easy to speak about themselves! I just would like to use this little sentence by William Shakespeare that can help you to understand who I am: Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind. I’m a very simple and sunny person, interested in everything turning all around me. I try to live my life considering every day like it was the last one. The power I find is coming out from my heart and my soul.


-Are you a professional or amateur photographer?
I work for an advertising agency as a ghaphic designer and a photographer but I am now improving myself becaming a free lance: an important step in my present life.

-Since when do you do photography?
Since I was 16…now I’m 40!

-What cameras do you use?
I use a Canon 1ds mark III, a Canon 5d mark II but also a Fuji x100 camera; my favorite lenses are Canon 24/70 f2,8 L, 100 f2,8 macro is L and 50 f1,2 L

-Your photographs are mainly erotic and glamour, what’s prompted you to make that choice?
I think that the body of a woman is one of the most beautiful things can exist all over the world: a perfect mix with lights and colours! I first falled in love with this kind of subject when I admired a Giulio Monteverde’s sculpture: I could imagine the same masterpiece using che art of photography… and that’s it!

-What gives you inspiration?
I am a dreamer and dreams are my source of inspiration! Then if you add some good music such as Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Cure, The XX and Ennio Morricone…or a good Tarantino’s movie ….shooting is served!

-What environment do you like for your shootings?
Good question! I do love strange locations, never the same. I am always looking for something original, using the natural daylight of course. But I would like to point out that I am really lucky to live in Italy, a wonderful place to live If you are a photographer.
