At PhotoDonuts, we always liked the work of Magnus Österhult. The Swedish photographer based in Malmö was first featured there over a year, and more recently with his series « Marlboro Girl« . He says: « I tried to keep things simple and see what you can do with a few simple words like dreams, innocence, sexy and natural. One big dream mixed up in different stores. » A series with the model Besa Sand from Sweden Models.

Room 205 by Clarens Tyson

Clarens Tyson is a photographer based in Montreal, Québec but he works often in New York City. The series « Room 205″ was shoot in Manhattan with the beautiful model Lucy B from Red Model Management.
Here’s what Clarens says: « This shoot really captures the famous sentence « Go with the flow ». I really wanted to shoot with this model from Red models NYC but I had no concept at all. So went we met, we sat down in my hotel room and brainstormed together. We decided to go with the flow and see where it goes but keep the overall theme very raw and dark with minimal styling and include some nudity. Lucy, the model was the nicest girl I’ve ever shot. We’re almost the same age so I felt like I was talking to an old friend of mine. She wasn’t shy and was really into it even though there was no concept. So we tried differents locations in my room, (no.205) ,played with differents elements outside, got kicked out a few times from shooting in certain area but we came up with this photoshoot which is my favorite to date. »

The Gray Wolf by Cameron Davis

I follow the work of Cameron since already more than a year, and it keeps me impressed. An interview was done in July, you can read it here. A trace of his background in the photography world, and where he wanted to go in this industry always so imaginative and growing up. Today, he’s back again on PhotoDonuts with his series « The Gray Wolf ».

Here’s what he says: « With this particular look, I wanted to incorporate an animal look of sorts. Each image I wanted to stand on its own so that even if you didn’t see the rest of the photos you can still appreciate the one just for it is. This reminded of the Gray Wolf in the sense of her posses, very strong, stoic, and expressive all at the same like an alpha gray wolf. »
