PhotoDonuts - Hi Danno, where are you from?
Danno Watts – Born in phoenix, arizona. But I travel to Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City regularly for work.
-Since when do you do photography?
I picked up a camera about 5 years ago but started taking it serious 4 years ago.
-Are you working as a professional photographer or amateur?
For the past 4 years I’ve been a commercial photographer. It’s a true blessing.
-What cameras do you use?
I use a canon 5d & 7d. Majority of lenses are primes as well, my favorites are my 50mm & 85mm.
-What gives you inspiration?
Nature, conversation with strangers, cinema, people watching.
-What does photography mean to you?
That’s a broad question that could have equally broad of an answer. On top of being able to capture a moment in time like no one else will be able to ever capture or replicate again, I guess it simply boils down to the fact that photography allows me to create something pretty to look at and share with others.
-What song would you choose for a slideshow of your work?
Depends on the mood I’m in at the time, but I like sad music about difficult situations, so something from Damien Rice, David Bazan, William Fitzsimmons and Sufjan Stevens.
Thank you Danno for sharing your experience, have the best for the futur.
